If you’re looking for great places to eat, you won’t be disappointed. We’ve listed some of our favorites nearby and in the surrounding areas.

Native Bagel Co.
Open for breakfast and lunch, Native Bagel Co. makes fresh bagels and sandwiches from locally-sourced ingredients. From a standard sausage, egg, and cheese bagel, to bagel and lox, to a falafel sandwich, you are sure to find something you love. Located in Berea, they are a local favorite and have a great cup of coffee.

Noodle Nirvana
Another Berea favorite, Noodle Nirvana serves delicious build-your-own noodle bowls with Thai, Indian, and Chinese flavors. They are a social enterprise that donates tens of thousands of dollars to a different non-profit each year. Try the spicy Drunken Noodles if you dare!

Happy Jacks World Sandwich Shop
This is not your normal sandwich shop! Here you will find sandwiches, salads, and soups with flavors from around the world. You can order online at at the link above, but check out their Facebook page to see mouthwatering pictures of their menu items.

El Rio Grande
One of Berea’s favorite TexMex restaurants with great food and margaritas. If it’s nice weather, you can sit out on the patio.

Boone Tavern
For elegant dining, you must try Boone Tavern in the historic Boone Hotel in Berea. There is also a coffee shop for a quick hot drink right in the lobby.

Apollo Pizza Old Town Tap Room
Apollo Pizza has been featured on Alton Brown’s Road Eats, and it’s easy to see why. Their newest location in Berea has a large food and drink menu, and is one of the best pizza’s in town. Open till 10 on weeknights and midnight on weekends, it’s one of the area’s late-night eateries. If you’re lucky, you can catch live music out on the patio!

Frosty-Ette
Located just a few minutes away, Frosty-Ette is where you want to go for burgers and milkshakes.

Proud Mary BBQ
This one is a little further of a drive, but the food is fantastic and you can’t beat the view of the Kentucky River. This is one of Shawn and Karen’s favorite places to come when they are in town. Check their website for the days they are open and their hours.
